What is Bedside Sex: The Wit and Humour of Sex about?
‘What’s the matter, darling, don’t you recognize me with my clothes on?’ Sex is good when you can have any man you want, and bad when any man who wants can have you. The quickest quickie... ‘It won’t hurt — did it?” Sex is like medicine — nasty at first but it does you good. These are just a few of the saucy gems in this filthily funny treasury of sex-laden witticisms, cartoons, cautionary tales and highly sexed stories. And if you think it’s dirty... well, as Woody Allen once so aptly remarked: ‘Sex is only dirty when it’s done right.’ Richard Huggett is an actor, author and playwright. His TV credits include Dr Finlay’s Casebook and Crossroads, and he has appeared in the feature films Goodbye Mr Chips and The Colditz Story. He has recently completed two new plays, The First Night of Macbeth about Shakespeare, and Weekend with Willie about Somerset Maugham. He is currently writing the official biography of Binkie Beaumont.
