The Department of Health formulates a tuberculosis (TB) control program that ensures budget allocation for implementation. Standards and policies are set for certification under DOTS, the WHO-recommended strategy for TB treatment and control. The TB DOTS package will provide fixed rate payments totaling PHP 4,000 to healthcare institutions in two separate installments to support treatment of patients in the intensive and continuation phases.
