This study investigates the influence of periodontal attachment loss and gingival recession on responses to pulp sensibility tests (PSTs) in mandibular incisors. Results indicate that both periodontal attachment loss and gingival recession significantly decrease pain scores in response to cold stimuli, with each 1 mm increase in attachment loss resulting in a 0.5 decrease in pain score and a 0.7 decrease for gingival recession.
