What is Shear Behavior of High-Strength Concrete Beams about?

This study examines the impact of stirrups, steel fibers, and beam size on the shear behavior of high-strength concrete (HSC) beams. The findings indicate that while steel fibers can limit crack propagation, the use of minimum stirrups provides better shear strength and mitigates size effects. A new shear strength formula is suggested due to the inadequacy of existing prediction models for steel fiber-reinforced concrete beams.
