To update the OS image on an MT8000iE HMI, the following steps are required: 1. Save the OS file (MTfirmware.bin) to an SD card and prepare an SD card adapter. 2. Flip DIP switches 1 and 3 on the HMI to the ON position. 3. Insert the SD card into the adapter and insert the adapter into the HMI mainboard, noting the adapter position may vary by model.
