About this document
The Open Dentistry Journal: Dental-Facial Midline: An Esthetic Based Classification by Taha Emam is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the dental-facial midline in 150 Nepalese subjects, revealing that only 16% have coinciding facial and dental midlines, with discrepancies more common in males and the maxillary arch. The majority of discrepancies are mild, typically around 1 mm, and more prevalent on the right side. The findings suggest that the coincidence of facial and dental midlines is uncommon, highlighting the importance of midline assessment in esthetic dentistry.
