About this document
Efficacy of Enoxaparin vs UFH in DVT by Mohammed Farouk Nawar is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study compares the efficacy and safety of subcutaneous Enoxaparin versus intravenous unfractionated heparin (UFH) in treating proximal deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Results indicate that Enoxaparin significantly outperformed UFH in preventing thrombus extension and venous thromboembolic recurrence over a 10-day period. The findings suggest that fixed-dose LMWH without laboratory monitoring has advantages over adjusted IV heparin.
