A boastful turtle wanted to fly south with the geese for the winter. Two geese helped carry him by holding a stick in their beaks that he bit. While flying, the turtle became arrogant, believing the other animals saw him as superior. Overcome with conceit, he opened his mouth to boast, causing him to fall to his death.
