What is Graph-Based Indices for Habitat Connectivity about?

This document compares and evaluates ten graph-based landscape connectivity indices. It finds that many existing indices have limitations that make them inadequate for conservation planning purposes. A new index called IIC is presented that integrates habitat amount and connectivity in a single measure, achieving properties of an ideal index. The document analyzes how indices react to different types of landscape changes and ability to prioritize important habitat patches and corridors. This comparison seek
