The Government of Bermuda is proposing an agreement to redevelop L.F. Wade International Airport through a public-private partnership. Key elements of the proposed agreement include: 1) The Project Partner will design, build, finance, operate and maintain a new airport terminal and facilities for 30 years, after which ownership will revert to the Government. 2) The Government will transfer existing airport assets and operations to a Special Purpose Entity (Project Co) owned by Aecon and other investors.
