The study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of pediatric intravenous urography (IVU) in Afghanistan given the availability of ultrasonography (USG). The study examined 139 affected kidneys in children who underwent both IVU and USG. The diagnostic value of IVU was positive in only 6.5% of cases by providing additional information to USG.
