What is CEA Levels and Colorectal Cancer Staging about?

This study evaluated the correlation between baseline CEA levels and TNM stage in 166 colorectal cancer patients in India. The findings indicated that 52.2% of patients had normal CEA levels, and there was no statistically significant relationship between CEA levels and TNM stage. Consequently, normal CEA levels do not rule out colorectal cancer diagnosis, nor do they predict tumor extent.
