Can I read Optical Fiber Length Measurement by Pulsereflectometry on EtoBox?
Optical Fiber Length Measurement by Pulsereflectometry by Helmut F. Schlaak,; Michael Gwiazdowski, is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.
What is Optical Fiber Length Measurement by Pulsereflectometry about?
According to the well-known time domain reflectometer (TDR) for wire cables an optical fiber length meter has been built. Short light pulses are coupled into the test-fiber being reflected at the fiber end, and their propagation time is measured by an electronic clock. A micro-computer calculates the geometric fiber length by the programmable group index of refraction. The absolute accuracy can be increased to a minimal deviation of +13 mm by averaging up to 10,000 measurements. The optical fiber length meter has been tested by a lot of fiber measurements.
Who reads Optical Fiber Length Measurement by Pulsereflectometry?
It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Engineering.
