What is Overview of Condenser Types about?
Condensers come in various designs to cool hot fluids through heat exchange. The main types are air-cooled fin-fan condensers which use ambient air, and water-cooled double pipe, double tube, shell and coil, and shell and tube condensers where water flows inside tubes or a coil to condense refrigerant vapor on the outside surfaces. Shell and tube condensers provide a considerable condensing surface area in a small space but shell and coil maintenance can be difficult.
