What is Pain and Sleep Quality Post-Surgery about?

This study analyzed the relationship between surgical wound pain intensity and sleep quality in 45 major postoperative patients over three days at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Pain intensity was found to have a statistically significant correlation with sleep quality on day one, two, and three after surgery. Effective pain management is needed to minimize the impact of surgery on recovery time due to sleep deprivation.
