About this document

Arthropod Distribution in Cebu Study by Stephanie Alegarbes is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This preliminary study assessed the distribution of ground-dwelling arthropods in Bolinawan, Carcar City, Cebu, Philippines, using pitfall trapping across three different habitat types. A total of 146 arthropods were collected, with Hymenoptera being the most dominant order, particularly the ant family Formicidae. The findings indicate that arthropod distribution is influenced by habitat conditions and bait availability, highlighting the effectiveness of pitfall trapping for biodiversity assessments.
