Netball is a ball sport played by two teams of seven players on a rectangular court. The object is to score goals by throwing the ball into a raised ring attached to a post. There are seven playing positions: goalkeeper, goal defence, wing defence, center, wing attack, goal shooter, and goal attack. Each position has specific defensive and offensive roles and zones of the court in which they are allowed to play.
