What is T Wave Amplitude about?
This study investigated the influence of T wave amplitude on automatic QT measurement techniques. Electrocardiograms were collected from 20 normal subjects and 20 cardiac patients. Three automatic QT measurement algorithms were compared against manual measurements. The difference between automatic and manual measurements (AQD) decreased with greater T wave amplitude for both subject groups for most techniques.
