About this document
Understanding Photosynthesis Basics by Bill is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to produce oxygen and glucose (food). The main organs and structures involved are: leaves, which contain chloroplasts and chlorophyll and are the site of photosynthesis; stems, which support the leaves and transport water and nutrients; and roots, which absorb water and minerals from the soil.
