The survey examined density and size distribution of sea cucumbers at six exploited fishing sites in Mahout Bay, Oman. Population densities varied between 1170-4000 individuals per hectare and biomass ranged from 393-2903 kg per hectare. Mean size and density were lower closer to human settlements, suggesting overfishing. The sex ratio was approximately 1:1 and size distributions did not differ by sex.
