Berta and Sergio were walking to school when Berta suddenly stopped out of fear of a snake near them. It turned out to be the school custodian pulling a garden hose. Sergio told his friends the story which got exaggerated as it spread, leading the class to make get well cards for Berta thinking she had been attacked by an animal.
