This study examines factors affecting turnover tax collection performance in selected districts of West Shoa Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia. In 2017/18, the targeted tax revenue was 9041224 birr but the actual revenue collected was 7888536 birr, leaving a gap of 1152688 birr uncollected. The study uses a mixed-methods approach including questionnaires and interviews with 373 respondents.
