What is Randomized Cost Analysis in MEC Task Offloading about?

This document presents a randomized cost analysis for nonclairvoyant task offloading in mobile edge computing (MEC), addressing the challenges of dynamic task characteristics that are not known in advance. It introduces four algorithms aimed at optimizing overall completion time and cost, demonstrating significant performance improvements over traditional scheduling methods. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating task offloading with service availability to enhance user experience and service pr
