This case report describes a 12-year-old boy who suffered a tibial tubercle avulsion fracture during a soccer game, after having been previously diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease (OSD) two months prior. Imaging showed a cortical bone defect and thin avulsion fragment at the patellar tendon insertion site. The fragment was fixed with cannulated cancellous screws and sutures.
