What is Characteristics of Adult Learning about?

Adult learners are characterized by always saying "teach me now" and studying only if there is an assessment. Having many tasks to do at once can be a barrier to learning. To support studying as an adult, one should always be a responsible person and do everything with planning. Autonomous and self-directed adult learning involves actively involving oneself in the learning process rather than passively receiving facts from teachers.
