What is Quarantine Notice for Parents of Minors about?

The Allegan County Health Department has identified a minor as a close contact of a COVID-19 positive individual. The health department is requiring the minor to quarantine at home for 14 days since last contact. The minor is considered a "carrier" under Michigan law. The parents are notified that they must cooperate with health officials and ensure the minor monitors for symptoms, quarantines at home, reports any illness, and seeks medical care if needed while notifying providers of their quarantine status
