What is Encounter Three about?

NINE THOUSAND FEET UP . and Brady eased the small plane's climb. The sun had sunk below the horizon, and the eastern sky was dark, showing its early stars. Brady looked about him, enjoying the relaxation the flight gave him. He saw a light high above and to his left, descending slowly...He knew it couldn't be a satellite when it continued to expand in brightness and size. At the same moment he knew it was rushing directly toward him.Brady tensed, his mouth agape. Holding formation off his left wing was a huge disc. It maintained its position, unmistakable, absolutely clear, unbelievably real. He saw the rounded dome above the disc, a wide-bellied protrusion beneath...Brady felt the pounding of his heart, and he took several deep breaths, forcing himself to calm down. But now he knew he was right. The discs were real!
