What is Dream of Don José de San Martín Libretto about?

The document presents a dream of José de San Martín after arriving tired with his soldiers at the coast. While he sleeps under a palm tree, he observes flocks of parihuanas flying. Upon waking, he calls his general Las Heras and tells him that the colors of the parihuanas will be those of the new Peruvian flag, representing the freedom of Peru. The general agrees with the idea and says they will inform the soldiers to make the flag.
