This study assessed medication adherence among hypertensive patients receiving monotherapy at a community health center in Bandung, Indonesia, using the medication possession ratio (MPR). Out of 780 patients, 93.6% exhibited poor adherence, with significant differences observed between male and female patients. The findings highlight the need for improved health system effectiveness and patient support to enhance adherence to antihypertensive treatments.
