What is Lot about?

Lot and his family lived in the wicked city of Sodom. Two angels came to visit Lot and warned him that God would destroy the city for its sins. Lot urged his sons-in-law and daughters to flee with him, but they did not believe him. As Lot and his family left the city, his wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. God rained down fire and sulfur to destroy Sodom as a warning about the consequences of sin.
