This study evaluated the technical quality and complications of root canal treatment (RCT) performed by undergraduate dental students at Taibah University, finding that 68.9% of cases were adequate while 31.1% contained procedural errors. The most common errors included underfilling (49.9%) and overfilling (24.1%), with no significant differences in error rates between fourth- and fifth-year students. The findings suggest a need for improved training in RCT techniques for dental students.
