This paper proposes a cyber security education model utilizing honeypot and SIEM tools at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) to enhance student learning experiences in IT security. The model addresses the shortage of cyber security professionals by providing practical training through a lab environment that simulates real-world cyber threats. Evaluation results indicate that the lab significantly improves the teaching and learning experience for students enrolled in cyber security subjects.
