This 3-credit social problems course at Penn State meets Monday through Friday from 2:20-3:35 PM over 6 weeks in the summer. Students will read assigned chapters and complete writing assignments, exams, and pop quizzes. There are 4 exams worth 10% each, a final exam worth 25%, 4 assignments worth 20% total, and pop quizzes worth 15%. No late work or makeups are allowed. Topics include social inequality, crime, health, family, education, and technology.
