This study examined the effects of intravenous tranexamic acid (TXA) on pump pressure and visualization during arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. 100 patients were randomly assigned to receive either 1 gram of IV TXA preoperatively or no TXA. The study found no significant differences between the groups in final pump pressure, changes in pump pressure during surgery, arthroscopic visualization, or postoperative pain scores.
