What is Bihar SIR 2025 Electoral Roll Update about?
The Election Commission of India has published the draft Electoral Rolls for Bihar on 1 August 2025, following the Enumeration Phase. Political parties have been provided with lists of electors whose names were removed, and special camps are set up for public assistance until 1 September 2025. From 1 August to 2 August, no claims or objections were filed by political parties, although 3,223 young electors submitted forms for registration.
