This study screened 56 isolates of Mucor fungi belonging to 11 taxa for their ability to produce several enzymes including amylase, lipase, polygalacturonase, and protease. The fungi were isolated from herbivore dung samples collected from two locations in Recife, Brazil. Solid media was used to detect enzymatic activity.
