This document is a welding procedure specification (WPS) for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) of butt, tee, corner, and fillet joints of austenitic stainless steel pipes with a thickness range of 1.5mm to 5.54mm. It specifies the joint details, base and filler metals, preheat and interpass temperatures, welding parameters, and additional instructions for the welding technique. The WPS was prepared by the JV partners and approved for ASME Section IX welding of austenitic stainless steel materials.
