What is Uddhava about?

Uddhava was an intelligent and respected minister of the Vrsni dynasty who was a disciple of Brhaspati and a close friend of Krishna. Krishna instructed Uddhava to go to Vraja to relieve the distress of Nanda, Yasoda, and the gopis from their separation from Krishna by giving them news of him. Uddhava traveled to Vraja and updated Nanda and Yasoda about Krishna, which relieved their sadness through remembering Krishna
