About this document

Casing Swage and Swaging Defined by Mohamed Kouchache is a document available to read on EtoBox.

Swaging is a process that uses compressive force to reduce or increase the diameter of tubes. A swage fitting is used between two sizes or specifications of casing and allows for temporary circulation lines to be attached. It works by pushing a fitting and ferrule through a die that reduces the outer diameter of the ferrule, compressing the hose into serrations on the stem to create a secure connection between the casing sections.
