The audit found some financial disbursements by the employee were not properly accounted for with receipts. The employee is asked to explain in writing within 5 days why disciplinary action should not be taken, as the acts found appear to be serious misconduct and breach of trust. Failure to respond will waive the right to be heard during the investigation.
