This scoping review evaluates the evidence for stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) boost as an alternative to brachytherapy (BCT) in treating cervical cancer patients who cannot undergo BCT. Sixteen studies were included, showing high local control rates and overall survival rates with acceptable toxicity profiles for SBRT. The findings suggest SBRT boost may be a promising option, but further research is needed to optimize treatment parameters and assess long-term outcomes.
