What is APU Inlet Door Modification Bulletin about?

This service bulletin provides instructions to modify the APU inlet door potentiometer on certain CRJ aircraft models. The potentiometer and mounting bracket will be replaced, and the electrical harness will be rerouted. This is intended to address frequent EICAS messages related to the APU inlet door system and decrease failures of the potentiometer. The work will take approximately 5 to 7 hours to complete depending on the aircraft model. Replacement parts are available from Bombardier.
