This study investigates the effects of a four-week rubber-based training program on the speed of gyaku-tsuki punches among Gokasi karate athletes aged 16-20 years. Using a one-group pretest-posttest design with 12 participants, results showed a significant increase in punch speed from an average of 30.67 to 31.92, indicating the effectiveness of rubber exercises in enhancing performance. The findings suggest that karate coaches should incorporate rubber training into their routines to improve athletes
