This study examined the prevalence of low back pain (LBP) in Thai rubber farmers and identified associated risk factors. A cross-sectional survey of 450 rubber farmers found that the point prevalence of LBP was 33% and the 12-month prevalence was 55.7%. Multivariate logistic regression identified several factors associated with increased odds of LBP, including higher BMI, primary school education or less, exposure to pesticides, and tapping rubber trees below knee level.
