About this document
Housekeeping Genes in Poplar by Dr Swapna Sasidharan is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the selection of housekeeping genes for normalizing real-time PCR data in poplar plants under cadmium (Cd) stress. It evaluates the expression stability of four conventional and two novel candidate reference genes, revealing significant variability in expression levels, especially under severe stress conditions. The findings suggest that the RiboGreen method is a reliable tool for transcript normalization when suitable housekeeping genes are absent.
