What is Ninĝišzida about?

Ninĝišzida journeys to the netherworld by boat. His sister Ama-šilama pleads to accompany him, but the demon tells her the conditions of the netherworld are unsuitable. She insists on joining him to limit his suffering. When she boards the boat, the demon cries out to lock the houses and temples. Ama-šilama is told she cannot enter the house of Ereškigala. Ninĝišzida is comforted upon his arrival and eats food.
