This document provides an introduction and background for a study on the correlation between self-efficacy and proficiency in accounting among Grade 12 ABM students at Theresian School of Cavite. The study will use a correlational research design and survey 90 students using systematic sampling. The surveys will use a 5-point self-efficacy and proficiency scale as the instrument. The significance of the study is that it could help increase understanding of how self-efficacy impacts proficiency in accounting
