About this document

Thermal Effects on FRP Reinforced Concrete by Kh is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the thermal effects on fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) bars and concrete cover in concrete slabs subjected to temperature variations from -30 to +80 °C. Experimental results indicate that concrete cover failure occurs between +50 and +60 °C for slabs with a concrete cover to FRP bar diameter ratio (c/db) of 1.4 or less, while a ratio of 1.6 or more can prevent such failure. The first cracks in concrete appear at the FRP bar-concrete interface around +40 °C, and the paper compares expe
