What is Knowledge of STIs Among Sex Workers about?
This study examined the level of knowledge and attitudes about sexually transmitted infections among 100 commercial sex workers in brothels in Tanjung Batu Merah, Ambon, Indonesia in 2018. The results showed that most respondents (75%) had good knowledge about STIs, while 18% had very good knowledge. A majority (47%) had good attitudes about STIs, while 42% had poor attitudes and 11% had neutral attitudes.
