This study evaluated the reliability and failure modes of a prototype hybrid ceramic-metal abutment under fatigue testing. Twenty-four lithium disilicate ceramic abutments cemented to titanium sleeves and attached to titanium fixtures were restored with lithium disilicate crowns and subjected to step-stress fatigue testing.
